“I’m proud that I have managed to be a good mom, open a business and start a nonprofit to leave a legacy.
My nonprofit is called the BOLD Academy (Black and Brown Opportunities, Leadership and Development Academy). I’m super excited to let girls who look like me know that they can do and be whatever they want with hard work and dedication. Our goal is to pipeline girls ages 12 – 17 into college or secondary education and build social and economic equity.”
